Life Legacy
Nina M. Aschliman, 91, Bluffton, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010 at
Christian Care Retirement Community.
Born on Jan. 13, 1919 in Wells County to Ferdinand and Mary Aeschliman Krummen,
she married Herman H. Aschliman on Dec. 2, 1950 in Bluffton; he died Feb. 28, 1992.
A member of the Apostolic Christian Church, she was a homemaker and assisted her husband in farming.
Survivors include a brother, Ervin (Lavera) Krummen of Bluffton; two sistersin-
law, Minnie Aschliman and Margaret Krummen; and 21 nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Sam Krummen, Harry Krummen, Albert Krummen and John Krummen; and three sisters, Clara Fiechter, Elizabeth Bertsch and Alice Baumgartner.
Services for Mrs. Aschliman will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church East with Gary Tonner and John Reinhard officiating. Calling
hours are from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton
and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Christian Care Retirement Community.
